How modest should my J. Crew shorts be for round 1? Is 3" inseam okay or is longer better, 4" or 5"?

girl, I'm in the same boat rn, also I'm between sizes and am torn between a "modest" loose 8 and a fitted 6 that I'd actually wear again lmao

We aren't going to measure the length of your shorts. As long as they fit you properly, look appropriate (aka they're not too tight and your bottom's not hanging out), and make you feel comfortable, classy and confident, you'll be fine.
