how screwed am i?
by: awk
How heavily will I be cut during recruitment if:
-I'm a sophomore
-I'm thick (5'6 145 pounds, dieting now but will only get down to 130-135 at best)
-I'm not wearing "designer" dresses but more like what was on sale at JcPenney's/Kohl's/maybe even Target
-My major is nerdy (not gonna say on here but it's not pre-med/engineering like most girls, it's like really lame)

My number one advice for you is to just be confident with yourself. If you change too much to try and fit in, you're going to have a miserable college experience. Go into rush feeling the best you can be and if anyone drops you, forget them! Because why would you want to be associated with girls that don't accept you for who you are in the first place? Don't lose your originality trying to mold yourself into a "perfect sorority girl", be yourself!

thanks! I'm definitely going in as confident as I can lol, any "changes" I make for rush are just being the best version of me. Like, I'll touch up my regular dye job so I look fresh, but I'm not changing the color of my hair, and I'll make my involvement sound good, but I won't make stuff up. I just want to have an idea beforehand. I don't want to be unpleasantly surprised after round 1 (or any), ya know?
