Philoantropies? Seriously? How did you even get into UF?

I can't speak for all houses, but my house has one main fundraiser, and then we do 3 additional fundraisers tthroughout the year. Each sorority also participates in Dance Marathon which raises money for children's miracle network.

There is a whole round in recruitment dedicated to philanthropy so you definitely should talk about it and will have the opportunity to.

This is a GREAT recruitment conversation topic! Every house is different, so ask away! And dont be afraid to ask about DM, Relay for Life, or what other philanthropies sisters are involved in (a lot volunteer, do community work, or raise money for other causes). you can also ask about participation in fraternity philanthropies (i think this is the only time its really safe to talk about fraternities), participation in other sorority's philanthropies, involvement in jr pan stuff like new member lip sync and ghouls goblins and greeks, etc. i remeber going into round 2 being super excited to hear about philanthropies and it really spoke to me. theres so much more than the one main fundraiser for the one cause.
