real purpose

Obviously, excitement for recruitment is building. I just want to share my experience. I went through Recruitment with an open mind and I am glad that I did. I ignored all the tiers and joined the house that I felt most comfortable in. I had options but chose a lower tiered house on purpose because I genuinely liked the people that I met during recruitment. I have ZERO regrets. I have made some of the best friends of my life and know that our bond will last forever. I have been given opportunities for campus leadership and involvement with the help of my sisters. Our sorority philanthropy is close to my heart and my future career has been partly shaped by my involvement in our philanthropy. There is so much more to joining a sorority than perfect looks and fraternity pairings. PNMs, please keep that in mind as you plan your clothing and shoes, pour over FB and Instagram, and discuss with your friends. Enjoy your process. Don't just drop a house because this board says the are not "top". That is silly and you will probably miss out on a great experience. Trust me, ALL sororities on the UF campus are made up of great women despite the "tier" system. I wish all of you a great recruitment!
