help!

Hi guys! You all have been so helpful answering PNMs' outfit questions and we all really appreciate it. :) I have a bunch more questions though so I'm going to put them all in one post so I'm not spamming up this page. And by these questions I mean what most girls do and what will help me be invited back, I have enough to worry about during recruitment so I won't be "following my heart" and taking fashion risks lol.
-are statement necklaces still in? I found a really cute JCrew one that's kinda big and has lots of bubbles/charms that I know would be a hit last year but idk if people will be wearing them this year. It's also starfish-themed and I don't want people to think I'm a DG wannabe and drop me!
-are jacks okay for round 2? I know they're the go-to for round 1, but I'm spending over $100 on them and according to Panhel's pinterest, round 2 is still "comfortable" and we're supposed to wear flats. I'd be wearing them with a colorful skirt, a plain/chiffon white sleeveless top, and the statement necklace from the last question.
-in what round does straightened hair become considered too casual? my hair is very long and is too heavy to hold a curl without tons of heat/hairspray/2 hours of styling, so I'd like to put off doing that as long as I can lol.

thanks "well"!! I definitely was planning on wearing flats of some sort for 1 and 2, just wanted to make sure that jack rogers are a good choice as opposed to ballet flats or other sandals.

Basically every PNM will be in flats, because you do a LOT of walking, and you have to walk fast! My first day was all the off campus houses in a row (Pi Phi, then getting dropped off by SK, hussleing to Kappa, then Theta and Deeph). And there were parts where we were fast walking. You have a lot of ground to cover, and not a lot of time when it comes to all the off row houses, so flats are way more convenient simply cause you're running all over the area for one of the days. Round 2 I had a lot of off row houses too, and you are basically on your own to find them. I'd personally recommend holding off on heels, even if you can rock them, until round 3. The last thing you want is to be released from recruitment because your heels slowed you down!
