They're all in the same(ish) range excluding DZ and tri delt as far as I know, with those being the newest and biggest houses. $3000-$4000 a semester is pretty usual, don't know many DZs but their dues are prob more than that. I would go through Rush regardless, you'll figure it out! A lot of girls pay dues themselves and are perfectly okay.

The 7-day meal plan at UF costs $1,964 per semester and the 5-day meal plan is $1,955 per semester. All sororities offer meal plans which are included in their chapter dues. My dues run about $2,100 a semester. A little more for the first semester due to initiation fees. So when you think about it that way, it's only a couple of hundred dollars extra per semester over the cost of the meal plan, which I assume your parents will want you to have if you are a freshman living in campus housing. Many sisters work during the summers and school year so you won't worry about that. I say go through recruitment, you will love it, and you will find a way to make it happen financially.

just saying work your ass off this summer and find a part time job in gainesville and you'll be good! i blew all my money freshman year and went home last summer and saved and was fine. even working two days a week somewhere helped and i pay for my sorority all myself which was roughly 4500 this year. you can do it!
