by: curiousDo sororities really look at social media? Facebook and instagram? How do they do this when there are over 1200 girls rushing? Do they look at the pages when the applications are sent in or only when a rec letter is sent? Please explain this process I am very curious

Yes. We have ways. ;)
We don't stalk you guys ridiculously and find out your middle name and how your last relationship ended, we basically just look to make sure you don't have any wild party photos available for the public eye to see and if you're attractive, etc.
It's like mild stalking, not "my boyfriend has been texting this girl named Cindy" stalking.

For the most part, yes.
There is typically a recruitment team who's job is to literally stalk over the summer. Let's say 50 girls register a day, which is a lot considering how many days there are in the summer, and there are 10 girls on a recruitment team, they only stalk 5 people a day. That's not that much.

thanks "greek!" Is it bad to not post much or be tagged in photos? All I have are like, action shots from my sport. No selfies, no pictures with friends in obviously going out clothes but not literally partying, none of that.
