recruitment?

I am planning on going through recruitment this Fall at UF. I have friends who graduated from my HS last year and talk about how great sorority life is at their universities (not UF). I found out about this site so I thought I would take a look at it to get some info. I am disappointed with the negative stuff written here. It seems like the sororities at UF hate each other and just want to put each other down. Do I really want to join? Is this really what it is like at UF?

greek life at UF is great. it is not like it appears on this site. go through rush and decide for yourself. good luck

This is the website people feel like they can freely bash other sisterhoods. In actuality, Greek life is an amazing experience that I suggest everyone try! I have friends in all different sororities and within my own sorority, I feel at home and have a sense of comfort. Whenever I'm feeling down, I always know I have a sister to talk to, when I'm feeling happy/want to celebrate, I know at least one sister will be down to go out and even when I just am hungry! I know I have a house to stop by and grab some food! I don't know what my uf experience would be without my sorority and I personally think you should rush if a sisterhood, involvement and friendship is something you want!

Wherever people can say what they want without being identified, things can get rude. Greek life at UF is a ton of fun and I'm sure if you go the greekrank at your friends schools, you'll see the same as here.
