by: PNMI'm very excited to rush this fall and I was wondering what the protocol for shorts/dress lengths. Can we wear denim shorts that are a mid length and fitted or would it be better to wear looser navy, white, or khaki colored? Are dresses at mid length long enough? Thanks for any help or advice

To add to above, just, for your sanity, dont do wedges day 1. You will regret it so much. Think about the most physically exhausted you've ever been, then multiply that times 10, and that's how round one feels. It's tons of fun, so don't think you'll be miserable or anything, just very tired. If it helps drive the point home, houses round one are VERY crowded. Like shoulder-to-shoulder crowded. Because of this, I promise that not one sister rushing you will be able to see, or even care to look down at your shoes. They'll be too busy talking to you in the short amount of time to look down at your shoes. Sorry this is long-winded, but all-in-all, its not worth wearing super cute shoes that'll kill your feet, just for nobody to even notice them ya know? One more point, my sorority wears wedges round one (as do all) and our feet kill at the end of the day, and we dont even have to walk from house to house like you do. Get a cute pair of sandals and I promise you wont regret it! Good luck and have fun!

God I swear I don't stalk this post I'm just bored sos.
Anyways, there aren't rules for PNMS on what to wear. Hell, you could show up in jeans and flip flops for all they care. You will be cut everywhere, but you can do it.
I know that these wedges are good and not too high, but I promise you that you will regret it. Round 1 is long. Lot's of walking. Almost no PNMs will be in wedges. If wedges are your style, then rock it. But if you're wearing them to try and make a good impression and look cute, just don't. Wear flats or jacks or sandals for the first 4 days (round 1 and 2) and save the heels for the last two so that you are able to walk to your class on the first week, instead of hobble.
