Having done recruitment twice, houses aren't forced to take a set number of juniors and seniors. If we like you, and see you excelling in our chapter we give you a bid and couldn't care less what year you are. If we don't think you're a good fit you get released, again, it doesn't matter what year you are.

How do you know if someone is a good fit after a five minute convo? how can you be a good fit?

As someone who's been on the other side of recruitment, the first round is very superficial.

We're asked to weed out girls who we can't 'see' fitting in to our chapter. Top houses usually weed out the most, since no one really drops first round, then middle houses--lower houses lose a lot of girls to attrition/girls choosing not to come back so they don't get to pick and choose as much. But yeah, it's unfortunately more superficial than the rest of the rounds

I rushed as a junior and had a great over all experience. You definitely can rush and find your spot!

If you do not mind me asking where did you find your spot? How was it rushing as a Junior?

By: Thanks!

If you're the only senior in your pledge class surrounded by girls who are 2-3
Years younger than you, you probably won't be happy and drop
