out of state

Im going to be a freshman coming in from Texas, does this affect how the fraternities will react to me or is this not a big deal?

Nope not at all! I know many people, both in my fraternity and others, who are out of state and knew nobody and found a place for them during rush week. Coming from out of state does not have a negative impact, in fact it might be a good way to make you stand out from other rushees.

There are plenty of guys in my house who are out of state, one even from out of the country. Nobody will really care. Just rush around and find where you fit
