i want to join alpha gamma delta

If you really want Alpha Gamma Delta, I highly suggest going to another school because they aren't colonizing here.
Gamma Phi Beta is colonizing here Fall 2015, and Alpha Phi is colonizing Fall 2017. No AGD.
During round 1, they will have a presentation, probably in the Reitz Union, where they explain their values, plans for a house, etc., and you can elect to go there or see if you get a bid and if you don't, hit up GPhi.

Gamma Phi Beta is colonizing this fall- they will participate in round 1 of formal recruitment in order to let every PNM (potential new member) meet the girls and learn about the chapter. After Round 1 they will drop out and let all 16 other Panhellenic Chapters complete the recruitment process. Two weeks after bid day, Gamma Phi Beta will hold their rush and give out bids. Just because they are colonizing does not mean they're giving bids to everyone and we expect it to be competitive. You should participate in formal recruitment and give it a try. Its not as bad as you think, and if it isn't what you want then you could take a shot at Gamma Phi Beta- just an idea :-)
