pilams or betas? My opinion-
1) Pilams - genuine guys who have a very nice motto of eliminating of prejudice. Down to earth and strong brotherhood.
2) betas - better house and better social calendar
I am leaning towards Pilams?

Well seeing as Beta is top tier and Pilamb is one of the worst fraternities here, I don't know how much of a comparison you are making

bad comparison. I've never hung out with beta (gdi girl, rushing next year don't worry) but pi lam's are all fun to be around :)
