phi mu discussion
by: GR AdministratorPhi Mu sorority chapter comments at University of Florida - UF

if you're an older Phi Mu than that explains alot. Phi Mu has NEVER been a considered a top house at UF on any scale - whether it be looks, service or even something deeper like sisterhood. Almost anyone who has ever attended UF will agree. I am sorry, but that is the truth "mommy".
#53by: Just saying
If you look up the last GPA report for sororities by UF online (2010), Phi Mu had the lowest one. So don't try to say that everyone who writes these comments can't graduate in four years. Second of all, nothing bothers me more than when someone gets in an argument with who they consider to be 'kids' and can't put a sentence together grammatically.
#56by: Grow Up
Most people who are commenting on here aren't currently in the Greek system (or even go to UF for that matter!) I am guessing they are bored and jaded alumni of some soon-to-be-defunct chapter who have nothing better to do with their time. It IS sad, indeed. Fact is, there is a house for every type of woman -- they're all so different, they really can't be compared in terms of the critera listed here. You have to meet the sisters of each Chapter, and decide for yourself which particular house you best mesh with. Don't let other people's opinions run your life.
#57by: Get it straight
No, their GPA isn't the highest, but it is a chapter average of 3.338 - which is really good. All of the sororities have good GPA's. The highest on the list has a 3.591 = it isn't that much higher than Phi Mu's. Also, Phi Mu has 137 active members, as of Fall 2011. Not 5. Get your facts straight.
