sorority comments

Whoever wrote the below comments is telling the truth. I am 18 years old and pretending to be a mom, I am at Florida right now and DG really is a crappy house, . Only the KDs have improved but ZTA has honestly always been a top house. Sorry gals this is the truth---take it from this young DG! Please stop being petty and jealous and accept the truth---DG is really a rotten sorority-- because of the ghetto video they made!!

As if it wasn't already obvious enough that it is the same petty, childish, and mentally unstable girl rewriting EVERY D A M N comment for the PAST YEAR, you could try a new word besides "ghetto." But I guess after a year you do start to run out of new ideas.

Hi, I was just accepted to UF and am coming from out of state. I would like to pledge a sorority but don't know much about the UF sororities. How important are the recommentations? Should I try to get a rec for every sorority? Coming from out of state, I don't know which sorority will be a good fit for me.

Recs are very important, get at least one for every house. Try to come down in the spring and meet some people if you can, if not, be sure to present yourself very well during rush. Grades and involvement are really important, as well as being yourself and having personality during rush. And please do not believe all of the bashing on this site. Every sorority has lies made up about them, when in reality they all have great girls and something to offer. Come in with an open mind and you'll find the best fit for you! Good luck!

I wasn't talking specifically about DG. I'm a Pi Phi and there is stuff made up about us and every other house too. I was trying to give unbiased advice, every sorority does have good to offer. And bad sides, like the three DG's involved in the video and the Zeta that keeps replying back to everything. Pi Phi has its less than stellar girls too but I still love it! I meant when I said give every house a chance!

And please don't look at these ranking as they are not at all accurate. The same girls are on here sabotaging the other top sororities. Good Luck during rush!!!

Hi I'm a freshman at UF and I'm thinking about going through rush next year. Since I'll be a sophomore would it be better to rush fall or spring?

I would rush in the fall knowing that your chances are less than if you're a freshman. You can alway rerush in the spring. This way, you're doubling your chances. In the meantime, get to know some girls in sororities.

My daughter was accepted for spring at uf. If she only has 15 credits by fall 2012 can she still rush as a freshman?
