sorority comments

So DZ, XO, PiPhi, ADII, SK, PhiMu, and AXO are all doing spring rush this year (maybe a couple otheres, but i couldn't write fast enough at the meeting)... Any advice?

come out on tuesday for spring recruitment at the reitz union! it's free, unlike fall recruitment, and since more houses are doing it this year you'll have more options than past spring recruitments. it's informal, and just be yourself! that's the best advice.

Does anyone know how long the spring recruitment process typically last before chapters give out bids?

chapters have already started giving out bids starting the day after recruitment, some faster than others. if you haven't been invited to a house for lunch, dinner, or other events then most likely you're not being considered for a bid.

They should feel embarrased for their actions. I hope they punished the three spoiled brats

This really is a poor source of information regarding the sororities at UF and should not b taken seriously or discourage any pnm. All nastiness aside the top sororities have always been and still are as fallows,
(in no particular order)
tridelt
kd
dg
zta
.............
then adpi
..............
then the rest can b debated.

Totally agree with "poor source" although there are def some differences between those more popular sororities at UF.

TriDelt - "hot blondes"
KD - "naturally pretty girls"
DG - "blonde pageant girls"
ZTA - "hot brunettes, lots of dancers"

While I do agree with the past two posts as far as those being the top 5 sororities I think most ppl who go to UF would agree that they r split up a little dif. according to what dif. types of girls look for.
If you r look for a dominate southern traditional sorority then kd, tridelt, or adpi
if you r looking for a more contemporary/ less traditional stereotypical "Florida-ish" sorority then dg, zta, and if having to pick a third then aopi.
