i don't believe that there will be spring rush for sororities. all of the houses got their quotas and do not need any new members. they will be explaining that to you at the meeting but my guess is that the meeting will address fall rush. If a house decides to do spring rush it will be the lowest tiered house.

Last year the only houses that took spring pledge classes were Deeph, AXO, and Sigma Kappa. Sigma Kappa's fall pledge class was huge, so I doubt they will participate this year. Not sure how Deeph or AXO did in fall recruitment but it is my understanding every house meet quota, which btw was the largest in Pan history. I have been told by my house that we will not have a spring rush.

They aren't doing an official spring rush but I've heard of at least 3 houses that will be taking springs. And not bottom houses either, go to the meeting and check it out.

There is only one house doing the actual recruitment. Others are invite only.

rush is not done by "invite only" - never has and never will. And yes, every spring its the bottom houses that rush because the more popular houses have enough new members from fall - who are you trying to fool?

I know this is disappointing but I don't know of any house "doing" spring rush--top, middle, or bottom. Go to the meeting on the 20th or call the Panhellenic office to find out more but getting your info from this site just keeps rumors going.

So tri delta will not be rushing in the spring?

The truth is that ALL sororities - top/middle/bottom tier - lost girls this Fall whether is was due to not a good fit, financial, etc... It isn't enough to participate in s Spring rush regardless. Just wait for Fall rush. You will have a better chance of ending up where you want to be or where you should be. Good luck.
