spring rush
by: GatorbabeMy best friend is in a sorority and all her friends love me and I the same. She is begging me to rush her sorority this spring as her friends. Will this help my chances of getting a bid? And how long is spring rush?

it won't help you because all of the sisters get to make the decision. you must go to a house where you get in because of you and not just because a handful of girls like you. spring rush this year is two sororities. it is something completely different than fall rush. usually the sororities who can't get enough people to join do spring rush

I don't know if you meant two sororities as in two sororities are doing spring rush because that's not true, there are plenty doing it! Also, it should help your chances because at least in my sisterhood, putting in a good word for a friend definitely helps, though it's not a guarantee.
Also your friend shouldn't be begging you to join her sorority because technically that's not allowed, go wherever you want, not your friend! And if you happen to fall in love with your friend's sorority and you end up there, it's all the better!
