sisterhood rankings

Its nearly impossible to have an accurate judgement about the sisterhood of a sorority that you're not in. The only one you can really judge is your own. I dont think an accurate ranking of sisterhood is really possible. All you can base everything off of is rumors you hear.

Just invert the tier system and there you have it.

This is honestly the dumbest thing I've seen on this site. For the people trying to actually rank the houses based on sisterhood, you're idiots and have no idea what you're talking about. The truth is its impossible to rank houses based on sisterhood. I've heard nasty (untrue) things about the sisterhood of the house I'm in. You can't rank sisterhood based on rumors because you don't know if its true or not. Only sisters in the house know about their sisterhood. Honestly this, to me, is extremely offensive. I love my sisters and my sisterhood and I don't appreciate being ranked based on how much we like each other because there is no way anyone could know that.

Basically what others said. And um yeah you hear rumors about everyone but this is based off of girls I know in most houses or actual facts ie the Tridelt that went to jail for trying to stab a sister or alternatively the houses that aren't always having drama.

The following houses.... well read on...

ZTA, ADPi, KD, and DDD spend way to much time bickering about which house can claim the #1 spot or has the hottest sisters/pledges. Vanity at its finest.

Chi O, KKG, and AXO constantly tearing each other down while battling over who is the better middle tier house. Not very sisterly.

DG and AOPi constantly making questionable decisions and "overexposing" their houses to ridicule within the Greek community. Uphold your values, ladies.

Sisterhood isn't based off the few superficial sisters, it's based off the ones that do things for the chapter and work eith each other. That's how bonds are made. You have to look for the good, not the bad. KD and ADPi and other top sororities definitely have great sisterhood. Not necessarily with every girl but that is expect with the size of chapters.

As someone who doesn't go to UF IK my opinion probably doesn't mean anything, but ranking by sisterhood seems helpful in a perfect world, but I don't see how anyone can rank what goes on inside a chapter. As someone who is looking to join to chapter a next year if accepted, I'd prefer to hear what one of the posts above stated- not who has the best sisterhood but warnings of what you may experience in the chapters. (ie. If you join KD, you could be fighting for the #1 spot, but if you join AXO you could be with girls who tear down other middle tier houses. And the DDD story has kind of got me freaked out lol). I hope any chapters worried about their "rank" know that not all girls want to join THE top house for the sake of joining the top house- do what your house does best and your new members will find you Fall '15. We know ranks change but sisterhood should always be constant.
