pref order

If a girl prefs 3 sororities does it matter what order they are in? If so, will a house possibly see that they are listed 2nd or 3rd and be less interested? If all 3 houses you preffed want you, do you get to choose from them or are you now obligated to join whichever you listed first?

Thanks for any help and sorry if these are obvious- I'm a guy just curious.

She ranks them 1-3 after the parties tonight
So that is the order she will be offered bids if that house wants her
