I would recommend accepting the bid. You will find that in large sororities, like at UF, you will meet many sisters that you fall in love with. If after spending time at the house, in an honest effort to get to know them, you still don't click. You can always drop out but I am sure you will love your new home! Good luck:)

I had 6 houses for round 3 and only preffed at one. I am in PC 13 and love my sorority so much even though I was set on another house. Give it a try :) You never know!

Always try it. You can drop before initiation if you decide it's not for you. I know girls who were devastated on bid day and now are head over heels in love with their house. It's always worth seeing, just be positive. You'll find friends anywhere.

Most houses have over 175 sisters before adding PC '14. If you have talked with 8 girls during the recruitment process, you haven't even scratched the surface of what this house might have to offer you. Remember, this is a mutual selection and at any point in time a house can release you. So if you get invited back, it's because this house has seen qualities in you that they feel would make you a sister they would want. Accept the bid, you will feel so welcomed and special on bid day. Trust me there will be plenty of girls on campus wishing they had your opportunity! Go Greek!!!

From experience as well as an opinion on the other side, if you're sure you don't want this house, don't list them on your final preference card tonight. You may pref at your top three or any combination of them and the fourth, or just have one or two left today. Only list those you would be willing to accept a bid at, so you don't take a spot someone would've been happy to receive. Numbers are up this year but the possibility of snap bids and the small spring rush are better than accepting a bid for a week and then dropping. This is the only kind of situation where Single Intentional Preferencing should be encouraged; if you're sure you won't be happy at one of your choices.
