How many girls started rush this year? My roommate last year is going thru rush and she told me she had about 45 in her rush group. With 22 groups that seems like smaller amount of total girls than originally anticipated???

With 1700 PNMs and if each of the sorority take 70-75 pledges, that leaves about 500 girls cut. Thats a lot. when will that happen, mostly first round? Those are scary numbers.

Well my Pi Chi also told me that with the large number of girls rushing, it also means that the amount of girls in each pledge class will increase... so they may have larger pledge classes than before

classes are expected to be 80-90 this year.

and girls are not usually "left out". they generally drop for some reason or another...most because they get dropped from houses that they want

Wow... This should be the most successful rush ever at UF.

Have no fear. Quota is set after prefs. and quota is the number of PNMs that sign bids cards divided by the number of sororities. If 1700 girls attend pref. parties and sign bid cards, then 1700 girls will be eligible for bids.
