rush question
by: joanieI am starting rush next week. my mom went to UF and was in a sorority and she filled out a form recommending me. I know that the sorority rules require the house to invite me back to at least 2nd round. Does that increase my chances since they might cut a lot of girls after first round? Or, does it not really make any difference?

I'm sad too, Joanie. I was hoping to see that things were going well for you. Get involved in other activities and you can try again, if you want to . The BONUS is that you will have the chance to look at all the sororities in the cold, harsh light of day over the next semester or two and make a more informed decision next time. Ekip...You are the reason Greeks get a bad name. After spending summer b here and only hearing about Zeta and ADPi, I was surprised by how pretty and nice Phi Mu's were. I felt most at home in the houses mentioned as lower tier because they seemed more real. Lots of fake smiles and forced conversations at some of the better known houses. And yes, I was invited back to top tier houses.
