sorority life worth it?
by: PNMI came to UF thinking there was no way in hell I would ever join a sorority because I don't want the stereotype or the cliquey-ness. Now I am hearing that it is a great way to get involved, have network connections, meet new people, have mentors, etc. So, is joining a sorority worth the time and the money?

I wasn't too sure about joining a sorority, but a year later I've never been happier. I lucked out and joined a wonderful sorority where the girls encourage each other and I would have no problem confiding in any of them. I'm sure there are some others that are more catty and care more about ranking and stuff like that, but I'm so happy I made the right decision. Just keep an open mind and I'm sure you'll end up where you need to be!
