Transferring in
by: Junior TransferHow easy is it to rush a frat as a junior with little connections from out of state. Currently at a school with very mid greek life so didn't find it to be smart to join one here knowing I would be transferring.

It’s gonna be really tough, but its still possible. I’d say conventional rush at uf won’t really be good for you (bc its meeting guys for the first time and being a junior+ is definitely an immediate dealbreaker for most places), you definitely want to try and meet as many guys in frats while in class, out at bars, etc and if you get close enough with them they may make an exception to bring you in as an upperclassman. Could also aim for a smaller/less reputable frat who needs membership.
