Can an MBA student join a fraternity on campus?

by: GradGuy

Homeschooled guy here with high functioning autism. I graduated from a branch campus of Penn State in 2016 and was a commuter. I got sick shortly after graduation and spent a number of years unemployed with a chronic health issues in and out of doctor’s offices.

I’m looking to get my life back on track. I’d like to make some friends and further my education. I’m going to University of Florida next Fall for a two year full-time MBA. While there, I’d love to join a fraternity and have some guys to hang out with. I have friends of different ages from 19-70 in my hometown so being older doesn’t bother me if it doesn’t bother them. Can a grad student like me rush a fraternity at University of Florida? Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately you can only rush up to your second year of your undergraduate years. Following that and as a grad student you are no longer eligible to rush
