what's with the sorority rankings
by: nm24 for more pan love
i went through rush this fall, and the house that i ran home to and love is somehow ranked lower tier according to gr. what makes these tiers and why does everyone here seem to care about them so much? like to me it seems like maybe the longer a sorority has been on campus or the higher their dues are leads to a higher rank?
but i'm just truly stumped, as my house and all of the ones i was welcomed into during recruitment (both irl and online through round 1) were full of equally gorgeous women.
let's stop pan hate and support each other <3

There are houses that are more popular during rush and vice versa. These houses tend to have a bigger social schedule with most desirable frats. They also have to drop more PNMs because other houses generally have more members leave. This is statistically factual but the truth is all houses are good here and many have a great experience in lower tiers. It’s great that you already love your chapter. That’s what really matters.

Here's the truth. The ranks on GR are not by greeks..they are by trolls that live on the internet and don't even have to be in greek life. They make ranks based off what they can read and see online...there are gorgeous girls in every house, smart girls, funny girls, quirky girls, girls of all shapes and sizes and hair color and skin color...and nobody in greek life cares. What matters is if YOU LOVE your house and YOUR sisters...we are not here to please these internet trolls. They ruined GR posts a long time ago, making this site a true cess pool.
Trust me, there is a lot of pan love out there and houses will do events together and mingle, despite what they want you to think on here. And yes, there are some houses on here that may be more "popular" (cough cough) with bigger social schedules and desired by certain frats more than others...but trust me, that's not always a good thing, if you know what I mean. ;-)
