KD gave out snap bidsā¦ ZTA, DDD, and DG now higher

lol...the only ones who would even know if a snap bid was offered would be the "basement" girls who run the lists and the pnm...doubtful a pnm offered a snap bid is coming on this cess pool of a site to slander a house they got a bid to. nice try. And snap bids are not an indicator of house quality...it's a numbers game

I know that no one really wants to hear this, but sometimes the numbers given a sorority are too low in earlier rounds, forcing them to release too many and end up way short at pref. So they never bid match to quota and have to snap.
I have no idea if this is what happened but it's a possibility. When this happens it's not the chapter's fault and doesn't mean anything about their desirability. But we really need a way to tear down sororities, don't we?
What I do know is that the girls accepting snaps from any chapter have never gone from feeling completely ripped apart and desolate to being ecstatically on top of the world so fast in their entire lives.

Exactly. Very well explained. Likewise, people who aren't in greek life think, oh they had to do spring rush, top houses never have to do spring rush. This is also not true. House numbers can change with quota changes, when girls graduate and/or some have to drop because they are too busy to devote enough time to the house anymore or for whatever reason, financially it works better (though they still hang out with the same girls). None of this indicates how strong a house is so thanks for this nice explanation!

True! I had a friend who said that one year panhellenic screwed up the numbers somehow and some houses were given wrong quotas so they didn't take all the girls they would have wanted and missed out on some pnms...so of course, they did spring rush. Wasn't their fault...it was the numbers they were given to work with.

It is a given that KD gave out snap bids. It was no one else. So KD was so over confident that they dropped all the decent PNM's and had to give bids to girls that totally dropped out of rushing.
