So, if having people who aren't actually in your sisterhood following your house on tik tok actually meant something meaningful, then maybe it would be useful. Not all houses think curating videos on tik tok and courting followers is the most important thing to their sisterhood and chapter.

Nobody said anything about being anti-sisterhood...what I"m saying (if you pay attention) is that not every house focuses on being present online or as you pointed out, possibly have their chapters around the states follow to bump up the numbers in support. What I'm pointing out is you could be an amazing chapter winning awards or great in philanthropy or high retention, etc...but not be overly present online vs a house that spends a lot of time promoting itself but in reality the sisterhood is not strong or they don't do much on campus, etc...so just having people "looking at you" isn't really an indicator of greatness.

Right? TikTok being a way to measure a house? Don't get me wrong, we love seeing a sorority having a good time (enter OU KKG), but is that really what you want to base yourself on?

To be clear I don't think this represents the best house as there is more to it than being the most popular house with pretty girls promoting their house, right???. All I am saying is it is great to see houses use these videos to promote their sisterhood showing the quirky, fun side of their chapter and that there is more to greek life than partying. I joined a house I truly love as I moved out of state and knew no one here. I did look on social media to see what house I liked best when I rushed, to see did they travel, do they do things together, is it only the same girls, did they post their philanthropy. This was important to me. Talking with girls during rush only gave me a small insight to the houses. This was my experience.

I don't see the issue, why is it okay to rank based on a HOCO pairing, who is prettiest, who is the best partiers. yet this post is ridiculous??? I think you miss the point, open your eyes, house dynamics are changing. Whether you agree or houses do change over time! At least this post has facts vs fiction.

honestly, yes I know this site is called greek "rank", but the ranks on here are absolutly opinion and superficial and there honestly is nothing notable to base ranks on...nobody is in a contest and there are no awards given out... hoco pairings have nothing to do with anything, GPA is great but it doesn't take into account harder vs easier majors, raising money for a philanthropy is also good, but looking at money raised doesn't really showcase the involvement and effort when you happen to have big daddy donors in your pocket ,etc etc etc... so really, ranks are dumb and mean nothing to those who are actually in the sororities. IT's all for outside peepers

...since when did working together as a total house, having fun together bonding over recruitment become anti-sisterhood? The content looks positive to me and shows the fun side. Isn't positive press good for the image of your house? I would think it is better than say...dirty rush which we know happens... Since all sororities are part of a national organization with many members...maybe they are the followers....
