Sorority tier tea

For new PNM’s, any top tier will be a good time if you care a lot about your image. You’ll get treated pretty well unless you’re DG, where frats somehow treat them as last. It’s crazy how you mention you’re a top tier like ADPI. zeta, tri delt and get instant simp eyes from the frats.
Mid tiers are the same but different fonts. There’s a mix of models and your average Jessica. If you want to still live a chill college life and be able to dissociate if you want, mid tier is great and non-Greek life refers to them as “girls who happen to be in sororities”, a positive view from geeds/non Greek life when talking about DZ, pi phi, kappa.
Base tier, not sure if anything determines this besides tradition. Notably, a lot of self rankers. Phi mu being one ETA 2019 when they started self ranking and getting their members to replace mid tiers with their own name. Don’t be like phi mu. A super chill time if you’re just trying to make friends and vibe.

I agree. The way Greek life is structured, it’s unfortunate that rank has so much power and toll on a girl’s mental health, especially initially. I wish it wasn’t so elitist. But then again, that’s what you get with paying for exclusivity—elitism.

Word of advice to PNM's, don't drink this "tea". We cannot stress enough how important it is to go into recruitment with an open mind and not any bias or stereotypes.
This post is peppered with a little praise for some and a little shade for others...and even references what non greeks will think of you. WHO TF cares???? This is why greek rank is not useful...it's by non-greeks giving their opinion from the outside. Just move on from Greek Rank and you will be much happier.

I did not care about tiers but I really liked Adpi, Kd and Zta. I like on middle tier house, Chi o and I also like Phi mu.
I ended up in a true top house. Everyone needs to stop putting the top, middle and bottom houses down. I went top because I actually love the house. It had nothing to do with a tier level.
My point here is to keep an open mind, if you love the house go with that house.
