PNM's please don't use GR for any info

It's that time of year when we all need to warn any PNM that finds this site that any info on the discussion boards is toxic, junk and not from anyone in greek life. There are no "official", "true", "honest", "unbiased" ranks on here. This site will only serve to give you a skewed view of sorority houses and poison your perspective.
These ranks and discussions are 99.9% from non-greek trolls, and you don't even have to go to UF or be in greek life to post...this site makes money by stirring up drama and getting people to pay money to have horrible comments or misinformation removed.
You will do yourself a great disservice if you buy into the garbage on here. YOU NEED TO FORM YOUR OWN OPINIONS DURING RECRUITMENT WEEK AND VISIT EVERY HOUSE WITH AN OPEN MIND. LISTEN TO YOUR GUT, NOT ANYONE ON THIS SITE.
I can't tell you how many girls I know found this site in HS and thought it was some official greek life ranking and then based their prefs off the ranks on this site. That is a recipe for disaster and will only cause you extreme disappointment if this site makes you think you have to be in a specific house or you have failed. YOU HAVE ONLY FAILED IF YOU USE THIS SITE FOR ANY INFO.
I promise you, if you ignore this site and focus on what YOU want and what YOU feel comfortable with and what YOU mesh with, you will 100% find the perfect house for you and your 4 years won't be spent trying to live by some troll's expectations on this site.

this time of year is so toxic with non-greeks posting hateful misinformation trying to mess with PNM's. Nothing on here is factual...it's all opinions. No ranks are "true" or "official", they are all someone's opinion using and twisting all they can ony find on the internet because they aren't there in person! They aren't greek!

There are certainly Ranks at UF Some houses are very popular and some houses are not so popular. The unpopular houses have to do COB and do not make quota.
The people on this thread must be in an unpopular house. There are true top houses and bottom tier houses. Get over your insecurities and stop telling people they are no ranks here. I was smart enough not to pay attention to the ranks anyway. Join a house that you love and feel loved.

Let's be honest here because there are definitely tiers and a general ranking system. Do they matter? To some yes and to some not so much. If you want to be in a sorority at UF you need to maximize your options and not be so set on one or two houses. Sororities make their choices about members before you (the pnm) get the final say. There will be hard cuts and tough moments, but if you stay the course you will receive a bid. It's okay to wish for one or two groups, but if that does not happen you need to ask yourself if being in a sorority is more important than being in just a certain sorority.

Ranks are for the insecure. Not made by true greeks.
UF has amazing houses for every vibe and what is important to you. Most will rank houses and put the ones at the top that party the most, are the most "facey" or post the prettiest sisters on their overly curated IG...some houses spend a lot of money on photos and videos and social media to make sure people "see" them and think they are the best...others spend their money on their sisters and sisterhood events and their house...
Miss UF and Miss Gainesville are both from what they call "mid" houses. Many houses don't spend their time curating posts or trying to be overly social with frats, they have other priorities and don't get noticed for that...so it depends on what your priority is. But trust us, srats don't go on here and bash eachother. What you see on here is from non-greek trolls. So don't believe the garbage on here.
Go into recruitment with an open mind and go where YOU feel best and will thrive, not where you think the trolls on here think you should go

If there was not a tier system, the sororities would not have to drop pnms each round based on popularity. Top houses are told by Panhellenic how many they have to drop based on popularity of PNMs. That is the tier system and top has to make the biggest cuts while bottom makes the least cuts.
I think the big issue with this site is the tearing down of houses, mainly in top tier and some of the lies and eggagerations about them but ranks are generally accurate
