should i transfer to kappa?

omg, transfer because you want to study at UF not because of a sorority

typically u have to reach out to exec, they’ll meet you and vote on if they’ll allow you re-affiliate here. so it’s not a guarantee lol

kappa here is a lower mid sorority and their frat relations are alright. from what i see, they hang out with mostly mid frats and some bottom tier ones. i don’t rlly see kappas at top tier events but there’s prob a few. they are a little more on the quiet side but usually friendly and involved group of girls. i think they used to be kinda southern but have been taking more soflo girls lately. correct me if im wrong bc idk many. they seem close with their sisters and unpopular opinion but i think they have a cool house

Kappas are very nice girls, who are very involved in various campus organizations and Panhellenic. But in terms of frat relations and social hierarchy, they are unfortunately falling. Another comment on this post mentioned they pair with mid/bottom frats, which is true but also getting worse in terms of recent parings and reputation with frats. So if you are joining in hopes of gaining social status and frat relations, it isn’t worth the money. BUT if you want the sisterhood and friendship, it’s still worth a shot as most the girls are friendly, outgoing, and pretty.
