At the end of the day, tiers and rankings do not matter. If you’re joining a sorority for the right reasons, it’s because of community, sisterhood, and future opportunities. And while people come onto Greek Rank and spew hate, the Panhellenic community is actually strong across all levels.

I have friends in every chapter at UF — girls in “top” chapters are friends with girls in “bottoms” and “mids.” And it says a lot about the character of a guy if he only values you based on your tier status.

Go through recruitment and look for the values that are important to you. But in 5 years after you graduate, no one is going to ask if you paired with “Beta Theta Pi” or “Kappa Alpha.”

Trust me, people in Greek life really do not care this much about tiers as it seems on the site.
