Weird pet peeve

ok so this “new Ivy” obsession is starting to get on my nerves. I’m a proud UF student and so thankful I go to such an amazing school but one article calling us a “new Ivy” is just a weird thing to obsess over. Ivy League originates from sports and the obsession with these universities is outdated. It’s one article posted by Forbes as if they have the final say in anything. I’d rather not affiliate us with the Ivy League anyway but that’s just me… just really annoyed over every sorority girl posting this “New Ivy stuff”
