Buying Instagram followers

Last year it was an issue with some houses buying a thousand followers here and there. Aren’t Instagram profiles monitored by their national advisor?

I am pretty sure those were just rumors during recruitment because following numbers tend go up A LOT before UF acceptance and rush. Sorority instagrams are monitored by panhellenic and by most chapter’s nationals, so the chapters would not be allowed to buy followers.

Tridelt buys followers. I was looking at their Instagram and they had 11k followers in the morning and over 12 that afternoon.. all of the other chapters talk about it lol
