hoco horror stories

While we're all on the subject of hoco apparently, thought I'd share a story which might shed some light on why srats are not putting much emphasis on events with frats when this is how they treat them. Not going to share chapter names, but it was during hoco week at a woodser event. On the bus ride, guys were playing loud music with racial slurs, singing along loudly and then using the "n" word in conversations...ignorant to the fact that not only was it offensive, there was a girl "of color" on that bus. At the event, guys seemed to spend more time having bro-time than actually mingling. Then on the way home, when some girls went to go back to their seats where they had left their belongings (everyone leaves their items at their seats when they arrive), guys were sitting in their seats, had moved their things and told them they'd have to find new seats, so the girls, not wanting to be rude and take a sister's seat, had to try to find somewhere to sit on a different bus. Then, the guys proceeded to tear into and eat most of the snacks provided, no ladies first or anything or guests go first...
So when you make posts shaming houses for not pairing with certain frats, they just might know a little more about them than you do.

Some srats at UF have class and they do not judge their self worth by a frat . Ever. They leave their clothes on and do not sleep around with the frat rats. That is all it is . We all know the houses that have class . We all know the srsts that have terrible reputations for being easy and sleazy. Frats love ❤️ easy and sleazy srat houses , Easy booty call. It has nothing to do with being popular . It has to do with the fact your house is easy . One night type of girls.
I find it comical that certain sleazy srats think they are better than anyone else because of HC pairs . Your house give the frats a good time, of course they want your back for a booty call. \n\n\n\n\n

tbh this ends up happening when u pick the frat that EXPECTS to pair with y’all. i always vote for the frat that actually tries to court us, idc if they’re lower in tier or “less impressive”
pairing with a frat that is actually excited to hang out with you guys and is on their best behavior bc of that lol, makes for the best hoco i swear :/

Yes, this!!! A MILLION TIMES THIS!!!! Pick the frat that puts in the effort. Who tf cares what other people think..it's not about them. You will have a much better time with the ones that put in the effort than the ones that treat you like a backup...the guys who put in the effort actually WANT to get to know you. honestly, it would be awesome to see those kinds of frats that treat srats like options to be left alone for a bro coming because they didn't put in the time or effort for you.

Honestly, I know girls that say they have a much better time hanging with the frats that people always diss. Some srats will unfortunately pick frats for the perceived optics, but most girls like the nice guys. Laugh all you want ,but secretly most girls who respect themselves say that a lot of guys in the mid and lower tier frats are actually the nicer friendlier guys.

Watch those drinks for sure. The notorious houses spend a lot of money on their parties and events, and this gives them the mindset that if they invite you, you owe them.

You know we're all speaking to the ones that obsess on tiers and the truth won't ever get through. But trust us people, there are plenty of srats who are more concerned with the classiness and safety of their sisters than obsessing over who you think they should be pairing with.
