Son going thru rush

So my handsome son will be rushing which starts next weekend. I understand the boys get "walked out" if the fraternity does not like you? Is this true? How do you get a bid if they do like you? How many visits to a house in order to get one? I want to understand more about how this works.

Get off greekrank, go ask a real fraternity man for real info, and stop helicoptering. You shouldn't know more about it than your son.

Some houses will walk you out, some houses will leave you alone and ignore you. Getting a bid is different from each fraternity, but everyone must give him the option to accept, deny or hold, that’s important I’d recommend holding and sleeping on it. How many visits depends, many houses will do them on the first night some 2 or 3 visits it again depends there’s a lot of variables with each fraternity
