Honest Rush Advice

So honestly i rushed during 2023 fall and dropped at pref and all i can say is rushing is all about who you know. I may rush again idk.

But talking to some of the girls during rush it seems like to get into some of the houses you want you need somebody on the inside advocating for you (and advocating hard). Girls that were smart, gorgeous didn’t even get a chance. Some of the girls I talked to weren’t the most attractive or classiest but they had “top houses” on their lists and they all had one thing in common they knew someone in a house. It seems very rare for a random girl to wander into a "top house" and get a bid. The girls who get in seemed to know somebody (or more than one somebody). Some girls hire a rush coach! Lol. But that's not to say it doesn't ever happen. It just seems more common to know somebody. So if you see some average girl in a top house know she probably had a relative or sister in that house or knew some girls that got her in.
