they had a good rush for a bottom tier house because they throw money at everything. they literally paid for full-time consultants to run their recruitment. they also poured so much money into that house and into every aspect of the house to boost their status artificially.

I know my sorority has consultants that come in for recruitment and I’m pretty sure all sororities do

Yes, every sorority has consultants and one may come during recruitment for her annual visit. She will sit with advisors and the behind the scenes girls and give advice or observe. The difference here is that they have teams of people they use to do the actual recruiting. That is not normal.

And Aphi nationals participated in rankings of PNMs and how pretty she is. They are the only national to recruit on looks.
Some chapters recruit on looks but you will find top tier DG chapters along with bottom tiers (like UGA). Not so with APhi

UGA DG is not bottom tier or top tier. Not sure why so much at UF for DG. I guess SOME UF women like mean girls.

So much hate for DG and Alpha Phi on greekrank at UF. You should be happy Alpha Phi is at UF as more sororities were needed. Doubt anyone from DG or Alpha Phi UF has time for the hate as they are out having fun.

I compared Alpha Phi's nationals to DG, which I was praising. It's normal for a sorority to have top, mid, and bottom chapters across the country. Chapters should be different instead of look alike clones. I'm not a DG but in a house that has similar vibes and have several friends in DG who are all great women. And to be clear, I also have Alpha Phi friends. I just don't like what I've heard from my friends at UF and other schools about their nationals.

they are consultants sent by internationals. all new members were told that. they did not recruit or talk to pnms. they stand in the corner with clipboards. lmao

Every aphi chapter that is new and less than 4-5 years old as an established chapter has alum from nationals that help teach them with recruitment. Not that crazy.

I don’t know why you are shocked. There are plenty of houses you all consider mid and bottom that are full of smart, beautiful fun women, but you’d never know it because you don’t want to get to know them. Maybe stop relying on IG posts and actually meet girls from the real world. 👍

This was posted by someone who’s roommate wanted an invitation to get on here and bash a house that’s doing extremely well and has made progress. Why is this a problem? Don’t you want all the houses to do well? Or are you just so consumed with your imaginary ranking system that a group that started 5 years ago with no house until this year is doing so well? I repeatedly ranked APhi high during rush because I loved them and they made me feel incredibly welcome. I ended up going with my legacy, because I liked them too and that connection, but I would have been happy with APhi. They’re really nice, fun girls! And yeah, their class this year is fire. So be happy for them. I’d honestly like to know which sororities y’all are in so I can avoid the mean girl vibe.

this!! they literally hire a phi alumni from other schools every year to recruit girls. no other chapters needs that kind of help during recruitment
