UF Spring Rush 2023
by: prospective memberFirst, what is spring recruitment like for sororities at UF? And are there any other freshmen planning on rushing in the spring? I'd love to get to know some people who are also thinking about spring recruitment before I rush.

It’s not like the fall at all. It’s not formal so there’s no real structure to it. They will have an info session where they list what chapters are doing it & may list what/when their open houses are but some will be invite only/you have to contact them to see if you can get an invite.

If you want top tier, wait til fall. They rarely do spring. Mid tier will probably have some that will rush and they will take a handful of members each. Some of these houses will pick members that they know so if you don’t know or try to get to know them then maybe wait til fall. Bottom tier will take more members in spring but overall it’s very informal and small. You need to get to know people in the houses this semester to up your chances.
