fraternity comments

they are completely new guys...why would they even be mid tier?

pi kapp are not completely new here, they have a very long and good history here, theyve always been a top fraternity and were THE fraternity in the 90s. as mentioned below they are already better than the likes of chi phi, who are like bottom of mid tier.

At one time or another many fraternities were THE fraternity. Delta chi used to be there until they got kicked off but did they start out at mid tier..no. They had to start at the bottom and progressively move up to mid tier. Get over it, things change..

the difference with DX and pikapp is that pikapp has always been a top house and had great success very recently, they also have a much larger/more influential alumni base here at UF

1. Pike did not start off mid and shoot up real fast, If that was true they'd be a top house. They moved up since coming back but they're still middle at best
2. It doesn't matter how you were 4 years ago, it all depends on the type of guys that join. The kids that joined pi kapp are weird, they'll start off bottom

Theta Chi paying for the ying-yang twin concert for phi delt and pike doesn't make them the same level. Theta Chi is mid-middle at their very best.

PIKE competes with ZBT or Beta if anything.

Guy below me has it wrong. Theta Chi is above ZBT and Pike, they're the best of the mid-tiers and slightly below Phi Delt.

theta chi is slightly above pike/zbt, but both zbt and theta chi are only that high at the moment because they substituted for pike and pi kapp while they were gone. now that in fall pike and pi kapp will both be back at the same time, they will take over from zbt/OX in a year or so. zbt will drop further than OX because pi kapp will take their house back from them.
