Unfortunately, social status is what's important to some people. Namely, those who would spend time on this website checking out reviews. I agree though, you should pick a house based on the guys you feel most comfortable with, not who are "highest rated."

These are the houses who have large brotherhoods, good parties, and hang out with hot girls. It's all downhill from there.

shutup has got it right. although i think beta will replace phidelt soon, and zbt will be way down in fall, probably getting replaced by pi kapp, who are getting [back] their house.

I'd move ATO up in the rankings and drop sigma chi below SAE. Other than that, I would agree with shutup

How far do you think ZBT will drop in the fall? I'm guessing they'll still be at about Delta Chi's level, which isn't bad. But this leaves a gap in the tier system. Either Pike, TEP, or Pi Kappa Phi will step up and fill the gap.
