Yes, they are southern. Not as southern as ATO or KA though. More like a smaller SAE. Overall pretty good. As for hazing I couldn't tell you.

yes they are southern, a smaller sae is a very good example, they're very top of mid tier and the hazing isn't very bad at all compared to some others on campus, go for it

Sigma Alpha Mu sucks. Pi Kappa Phi won't be top tier. They'll be lucky to be mid-tier.

Sig Ep- Guidos
SAE- Southern (Not like KA or ATO)
Phi Delt- Guido (Not as much as Sig Ep)
Sigma Chi- Mix of guido and southern.

They all haze. Of course it's not easy getting a bid from them. Your best bet is to know brothers in the frat, be a legacy, be good at sports, be cool, not poor, and not be an idiot.

I heard Pi Kappa Phi and Pike both used to be good. Does anyone think they'll be back on top anytime soon? Or should I just forget them and pledge somewhere else? Where do SAE, ATO and Phi Delt rank?

Pi kapp WAS undeniably top tier before they got kicked off campus. Hard to say for sure, but I think it's going to take several kick-ass pledge classes before they'd be back on top again. Check out SAE or maybe even Phi Delt in the meantime.

SAE is a better house than Phi Delt. Especially when you look at the last two pledge classes.

it's doubtful Pi Kapp will be much of anything for the next couple of years -- it's too bad, my brother was/is a brother -- and they used to be solid!
