advice from an older greek

To all potential Greek members,
Please do not use this site to determine which Frat/sorority you will join, because nothing is as it seems. The site is loaded with malicious postings by anonymous creators, each trying to put-down one another, or boost their own interest. The true reality is that in the world of Greek life, no house is better or worse, they are all special and you will be glad you joined.
When I joined Greek life (many many years ago) I too was perplexed by all the foolish rankings and discussions as to which house to join. I first mingled with Active’s at the so called “best number 1” house, but after some time, I realized that our interests were not the same (no they were not evil just not for me) and moved on to other houses... I received multiple bid offers and finally accepted to join a Chapter that was considered lower on the “mystical ranking list” then others. Turns out that was the perfect choice for me, and I started on a pathway to some of the happiest moments in my life. I had a wonderful college experience and I am still in contact with my entire pledge group who are all successful, living happy lives, and creating awesome families and memories.
My advice is to go out to as many events as you are able and get to know as many people as possible before deciding, and don’t be guided solely on hearsay, innuendo, or any ranking here or anywhere for the matter.

1. OP keeps bumping his/her own post with meaningless comments and dissing anyone who calls him out on it for being "negative".
2. OP's post is all about checking out houses at the bottom of greekrank.
3. The last post about this didn't get nearly as many bumps despite also currently being on the front page. The only difference is that this one emphasizes checking out lower houses more.
