uf greek system backwards

Anyone else from the South can see that we have a backwards Greek system at UF. All my friends went to other SEC schools and we grew up in a college town. I was excited to get my bid from my sorority because in my hometown we are GREAT, in UF, not so much. UF is maybe the only SEC school where XO and Phi Mu are as bad as they are. It's weird.

Houses vary in every school and change over time, there are some coincidences between schools and some not. The chapter is way more important because that's who you'll spend time with. You can obviously sort them out during rush sooo

i have noticed that. usually on most campuses houses such as chi-o and kappa kappa gamma are considered top. At UF it's just different.

and in anyplace BUT the south, houses like DG, AOPI, and DEEPH would be #1,#2 and Deeph would be much higher

What I think is more confusing is why you would troll to find a post from three years ago just to try and get in a dig at XO and Phi Mu. Just because XO and Phi Mu are amongst tip top tier at some SEC schools, doesnt mean they are bad here. Both houses here have a lot of good qualities, and their strong status elsewhere indicates a good national presence. Our tip top tier here has pretty much been the same chapters for decades that doesn't mean other houses are bad.
