What did they make them do besides blind fold them? All I heard about was the comments that were made. This whole thing is so sad.

You know hazing is illegal in Florida, right? The state legislature toughened up its criminall code and made hazing a felony crime since that hazing Miami student died in like 2005.

This sort of thing isn't usually prosecuted but in this case there's documented evidence of the hazing, and unless RC decides to fall on the sword and take one for Theta, the entire chapter is implicated in the footage. Theta should be most worried about the legal consequences because universities and law enforcement will come down hard and make an example of the chapter, in light of what happened at Penn State and that other Phi Delt kid in the news recently.

I'm sad to say it, but heads will roll and it will affect us all. Every house will be watched under a microscope because of this incident and we will probably be forced into some sort of extra anti-hazing programs by the university. It's not going to be fun.

ok first off, the cops are at the house because there were threats of people vandalizing the house/harassing the girls walking into the house. legally, there is nothing the state can do because the recording was illegally obtained and is inadmissible in court. this has been dealt with already and is only now reaching the public. if everyone could get their facts straight before talking out of their butts, that would be great.

i love how all of greek life acts like this is the first and only "hazing" case. we know there is SOME form of hazing happening in every single chapter right now so don't act like hypocrites! i'm not saying it's right, in saying it happens all over campus so don't make yourselves look so clean and innocent

Just stop, anyone who comments that there’s hazing going on at any sorority at UF is not involved in Greek life. Or is desperately trying to make a better house look bad in attempt to help their own Sorry House look better. Obvious to all!
