rush a second time?

by: Question

I went through rush last year after a really bad summer in which I gained a lot of depression weight. I got sick mid recruitment and ended up getting a bid from a bottom tier house. I gave them a chance for a week but ultimately felt like it wasn't for me. Nothing against the house I just didn't click like I thought I could. I want to rush again but read that if you get dropped once they'll drop you again? Is that true? I no longer have that depression weight and I lost more, I know how to straighten my hair, my skin cleared up and I feel so much happier and more confident with myself. Is it a waste of time to rush again if I'll just get dropped or should I go through with it and hopefully end up with a house I love.

I would think feeling more confident and healthy would help you but UTI makes a good point. Have you reached out to sorority women during the past year? Are any of them your friends? Having someone vouch for you would help as well but its impossible for anyone to give you a definitive answer on this site.
