sophomore rushing
by: :)What is it like if you rush a sorority as a sophomore when most of your pledge class are freshman? I feel like it shouldn't be much different but still curious

As a sophomore you're probably ahead of most of your PC academically, so you'll likely have more classes with girls your age and find more in common with them (of course not always). You won't have the same excitement for college that some of your freshman sisters have because it isn't new to you anymore. You might be a bit more mature in comparison because you've already gone through a year of college and can handle yourself. You might have a harder time receiving a nomination/office that's given out by/for your class (sophomore) rather than your PC, because most of those girls have been in the sorority longer and know each other better. Personally, I have a mix of friends from the PC above me and my own, while a lot of the freshman in my PC are friends primarily with their own PC. Really, it's all up to you, though! Overall it's not very different
