So, I'm an incoming freshman coming for summer B. Can I go out/ to parties without getting penalized as having a "bad rep" during rush?

If you go out to parties during summer b, there's no way anyone will give you a bid. Summer b is a time to study and get your grades up

that's false, I had stats 1 and Chem 1 for summer b, went out almost everyday, ended with 2 As, classes aren't hard during summer b, just put time into them

the first person was definitely being sarcastic lol just don't get sloppy drunk and you're fine. it's college, everyone goes out so as long as you aren't getting ratchet every night then you won't be hurting your chances at all

Going out might help you meet girls in chapters and you might get a feel for the kinds of girls in different houses. Also they may remember you. Just don't be sloppy! Def go out freshman summer B is so much fun but please don't forget your grades!!!
