is there an age limit in joining a sorority?

Try to get to know the vibe of each house. No one cares about your age, they care about what you have to offer. They care about how long you will remain in college for too. They want to know if you can afford the dues, keep up with school, get involved, and stay committed. Are you the type of person who is willing to go out of your way to help others? Are you a leader? Think of rushing like a job interview, and the girls look for different things. They want to see if you'll fit in and will get along with their organization. Some care about the way you look, some don't. Some care about high GPAs, some don't. In the end, the sorority you stick with and belong in will welcome you with open arms.

Wow, I didn't think trying to gain some new experience and try it out would be a bad thing? I'm not from the states so I've always been curious about rushing and everything..

2 years only actually but people normally only take a year out in the UK. I did a year in the industry and spent my other year volunteering in West Africa.
